From July 5th to 12th, 2026, we invite you to Buis-Les-Baronnies for the first edition of the Ventoux Flute Festival's international meetings and competitions!

A unique event for all flute enthusiasts who want to make music together.

The Meetings

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced flautist, these meetings are for you!

Alongside our international team of instructors, you can learn, share, explore playing in small ensembles, and join the flute orchestra.

Everyone can participate in concerts or open mic sessions and enjoy a friendly, collective experience amidst the magnificent landscapes of the Drôme Provençale. A specially supervised stay is available for our young flautists aged 14 to 18. All the information is available on our website.

The Competition

The Ventoux Flute Festival also includes a music competition for ensembles ranging from trios to flute quintets in categories 1 and 2, and from duos to quintets in category 3, featuring flute and other instruments (excluding flute and piano).

For categories 1 and 2, music schools, conservatories, universities, and other musical education institutions present ensembles composed of students from their flute classes. These institutions will receive prizes in the form of instruments such as a piccolo, alto, or bass flute. Each participant will also receive other small prizes.

For category 3, which is open to professional ensembles or high-level amateur ensembles, the prize will be the recording of an album by the Urtext Classic label, with distribution on all music streaming platforms.

As an added bonus, the best ensembles will also be awarded the Audience Choice Award at the closing ceremony.

Whether you're a budding musician or a professional, the Ventoux Flute Festival is the perfect opportunity to play, learn, share, and experience the passion of the flute in an exceptional setting!

So join us and be part of this exciting new musical adventure!
